Ruud Poels - Owner - Munco

Munco is a leading player in the non-residential construction industry: they design and build commercial buildings, provide steel structures, roof and facade systems, and complete turnkey projects. During a moment of reflection, Munco sought a fresh, recognizable style for their communications, which led them to Explose.

When we decided to refresh our commercial communications, particularly our logo and corporate identity, we knew we wanted a partner with a small footprint but an eye for quality. A positive reference led us to Explose. That's how things quickly turned to Valkenswaard, and we clicked right away.

The collaboration felt relaxed and effective. Explose took the time to truly explore who we are and how we work, ensuring that this is reflected in our visual language. Initially, I thought designing a corporate identity would be a relatively straightforward task, but it turned out to be more complex. And precisely because of that, the final result was better than I expected.

I still vividly remember the depth of the analysis. It revealed a communication style that truly resonates with us. That reflection was valuable. You're asked to consider who you are, what you stand for, and how you want to be perceived by the market. And that has led to clear choices in how we present our brand and our work.

This process has given us clarity both internally and externally. The new look forces us to be consistent. The subtle detail of the new logo, which alludes to a fox, was also a great touch. It conveys something about cleverness and creativity, and that's part of who we are.

I characterize Explose as a team that dares to ask questions, that works in a friendly atmosphere, and invites, sometimes even challenges, you to reflect. This combination of honesty and drive is rare.

Thank you for the space, the sharpness, and the warmth with which you shaped our brand. Congratulations on your 25th anniversary, and here's to the next one.
